LEGAL NOTICE FOR AQUINNAH

NOTICE TO AQUINNAH TAXPAYERS

In compliance with Chapter 40, Section 56 of M.G.L., the Board of Assessors has conducted a comprehensive reassessment of all classes of properties in the Town of Aquinnah. This action was undertaken to comply with that section of the law that requires triennial certification of property values.

The Fiscal Year 2012 pending valuations will be available for taxpayer review in the Assessors Office at the Town Hall, 65 State Road and at the Public Library , 1 Church Street. These values are pending preliminary certification by the Department of Revenue. The public review will run from Saturday, May 19, 2012 through Friday, May 25, 2012, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (except Sunday). We will be open late on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, until 7:00 p.m.
